Sit down Forklift Certification Training at Forklift Academy

OSHA regulations mandate that all operators of Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts) must complete the proper Forklift Training and Certification due to the significant number of fatalities from forklift-related accidents each year in the USA (200-250). Forklift Academy, a leading Forklift training provider in the USA and Canada, offers effective and affordable Forklift Certification at facilities across the country.

Why You Need a Forklift License:

  • It’s required by law.
  • Employers prefer certified forklift operators.
  • Accepted by OSHA and employers nationwide.
  • Complete the training in under 4 hours.
  • Receive your OSHA accepted picture ID Forklift License the same day.
  • Hands-on classroom training tailored to beginning operators.
  • Receive a custom printed operator ID card (plastic wallet card).
  • Obtain a certificate of achievement as proof of training completion.
  • Interactive presentations, PowerPoint, models, and discussions ensure engaging, informative training.
  • Class length is approximately 3-4 hours.
  • Classes are available at 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with Saturday classes available by appointment only.

Testing:

  • Written tests assess comprehension of the material.
  • Answers are reviewed in a group to ensure understanding.

 

“On the Equipment” Evaluation includes:

  • Learning forklift operation and safety practices.
  • Understanding forklift controls, engine operation, maintenance, steering, and maneuvering.
  • Gaining knowledge of rated capacities, forklift limitations, and safety in hazardous areas.
  • Learning how to handle loads, work with pedestrians, and operate in rough terrain.
  • Practice using forklift equipment in a warehouse and rodeo simulation.

 

Job Placement:

  • Your name will be added to the job opening database for potential job opportunities.
  • Forklift Academy partners with companies and temp agencies that may provide job leads to graduates.
